Abbey New Homes Wixams
Solmatix delivered a multi-phase solar PV programme for Abbey New Homes at Wixams, comprising 115kWp in Phase 2 and 128.25kWp in Phase 3.
The project demonstrates Solmatix’s capability to support renewable energy delivery across a major residential development, helping the new homes meet SAP requirements and wider sustainability objectives.

The phased approach allowed solar PV to be incorporated as the development progressed. Solmatix coordinated the design and installation requirements across both phases, creating a consistent renewable energy solution for the wider scheme.
The combined 243.25kWp capacity is estimated to avoid approximately 28,670kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use.
