Solmatix delivered 570.465kWp of solar PV and battery storage across an Ards and North Down Borough Council property portfolio.
The programme demonstrates Solmatix’s capability to coordinate renewable energy installations across multiple public buildings, including leisure centres, community centres and council headquarters.

Each location presented different operational, building and energy requirements. Solmatix coordinated the portfolio as a wider programme while tailoring delivery to the needs of the individual sites.
The installations support increased on-site renewable electricity generation across the council estate and are estimated to avoid approximately 96,979kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, weather and on-site energy use.
