Solmatix delivered a 940.75kWp rooftop solar PV installation for Cirrus Plastics in Portadown.
The project demonstrates Solmatix’s ability to deliver renewable energy infrastructure at scale for an energy-intensive manufacturing operation.

The extensive roof area was used to create a substantial on-site generation asset. Solmatix managed the technical design, installation and commissioning within the operational manufacturing environment.
The completed system supports lower reliance on purchased grid electricity and is estimated to avoid approximately 159,928kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use.
