Solmatix delivered a 120kWp rooftop solar PV installation at the JKC BMW Service Centre in Coleraine.

The project marked JKC’s first investment in on-site solar generation and demonstrated the company’s commitment to improving the energy performance of its motor trade operations.

The service centre provided the starting point for JKC’s adoption of solar PV. Solmatix designed and delivered the system around the operational needs of the facility. 

The installation is estimated to avoid approximately 20,400kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use. Its success led to a second JKC project at the nearby BMW showroom.
