Solmatix delivered a 540.35kWp rooftop solar PV installation for NI Water at Drumaroad near Castlewellan.
The project demonstrates how large roof areas within the water utility estate can be used to support on-site renewable electricity generation.

Solmatix designed and delivered the installation for an operational NI Water site, coordinating the renewable energy works around the requirements of essential utility infrastructure.
The completed system is estimated to avoid approximately 91,860kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use.
