Solmatix delivered a 2,146.56kWp solar PV installation for NI Water at its North Down site near Donaghadee.
This multi-discipline project demonstrates Solmatix’s ability to deliver a complete renewable energy package combining solar PV, site infrastructure, fencing and landscaping works.

The project extended beyond the solar installation itself. Solmatix coordinated the PV works with fencing and a programme of tree and shrub planting, delivering the different elements as one integrated package.
The system provides large-scale on-site renewable electricity generation for essential water infrastructure. It is estimated to avoid approximately 364,915kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, weather and on-site energy use.
