Solmatix delivered a 1,621.245kWp rooftop solar PV system at SAM Mouldings in Antrim.
The project demonstrates Solmatix’s capability to expand an existing renewable energy system at scale, adding substantial new generation capacity for a major manufacturing operation.

Additional Information
The installation was developed as an expansion of the site’s existing solar PV infrastructure. This required the new system to be planned and delivered in the context of the operational facility and the renewable energy equipment already in place.
The completed expansion strengthens the manufacturer’s ability to generate electricity on site and reduce its reliance on purchased grid energy. It is estimated to avoid approximately 275,612kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use.
