Village Infants School

Solmatix delivered a 79.2kWp solar PV and battery storage installation at Village Infants School in Dagenham.

Completed as part of the Greener Schools Funding initiative, the project demonstrates how renewable energy technology can be integrated into an education setting to support lower-carbon school operations.

Location: Dagenham, England

Additional Information

The system enables the school to generate renewable electricity on site, with battery storage complementing the solar PV installation. Together, the technologies provide a practical foundation for making better use of locally generated energy.

The project reflects Solmatix’s experience of delivering renewable energy solutions in active education environments. The installation is estimated to avoid approximately 9,853kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, weather and on-site energy use.
