Solmatix delivered a 447.92kWp rooftop solar PV installation for Western Brand in Waterford.
The project demonstrates how large-scale rooftop solar can support a food sector business seeking to generate more of its electricity on site and reduce exposure to purchased energy costs.

The available roof area was used to create a substantial renewable energy asset for the operational site. Solmatix managed the technical design, installation and commissioning of the system.
The completed installation supports Western Brand’s ongoing energy and sustainability objectives. It is estimated to avoid approximately 76,146kg CO2e each year, subject to generation, roof orientation, shading, weather and on-site energy use.
